Frontier Communications Corporation (FTR) has promoted Trent Anderson to senior vice president for its Southern California Eastside territory, which encompasses more than one million households and businesses across major parts of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Kern Counties.

Anderson brings over 25 years of telecommunications industry experience in enterprise solutions, commercial sales, operations and business development to lead a major market segment in the West Region. Previously senior vice president and general manager of Frontier’s Oregon operations, Anderson will report to West Region President Melinda White.

“We are confident that Trent’s extensive operational expertise will speed the delivery of new products, enhance our already high-quality services and benefit residential and business customers in California’s inland, low desert and high desert communities,” said White. “Trent’s breadth of telecom knowledge was instrumental in developing the right strategies to move Frontier’s Oregon operation forward. His customer centric leadership ensures that the team members deliver quality service and support.”

Anderson joined Frontier in 2013 as vice president and general manager of Oregon operations, where he served as the state leader for operations, sales, engineering, and community engagement. Previously, he was vice president of enterprise sales and government and education services at Integra Telecom. He also served as chief operating officer at Integra and chief executive officer of SkyRiver Communications, a wireless broadband provider, based in San Diego, Calif. Earlier, Anderson held operations positions at MCI Telecommunications, Inc. and Electric Lightwave, Inc.

Anderson is active in the community and serves on the boards of the American Heart Association, the American Stroke Association and Youth Athletics. He is also part of the Metro Ethernet Forum and a coach for the Catholic Youth Organization. He graduated from Oregon State University’s School of Business and now resides in Rancho Cucamonga.
